Inclusive Access Course
What is Inclusive Access?
Inclusive Access is a delivery option for course materials and is less expensive than traditional textbooks. Inclusive access connects students and faculty with digital learning tools through the NEO learning management system. Students have the correct course materials on the first day of class and have access to Inclusive Access course materials on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
How do I get my required course materials through the Inclusive Access Program?
Your required digital course materials are delivered through the NEO learning management system. Access begins the first day of class. Your instructor will provide specific directions or communication on exactly how your Inclusive Access materials are accessed.
How much does Inclusive Access cost?
Prices are negotiated and vary depending upon the course materials chosen by the instructor, but are lower than competitive market rates. The charge for the Inclusive Access course materials will be billed directly to the students NEO account in the business office, by the bookstore during the third week of class. There is no need to purchase an access codes.
What does it mean to opt-out?
If you do not wish to purchase the required course materials through the Inclusive Access program, you have until the add/drop day to opt-out. If you opt-out by the deadline, access to the online content will be turned off and the cost will not appear on your Bursar account.
However, we have worked with publishers to get your course materials at the lowest available cost. These materials are required by your instructor. If you decide that you do not want to participate, you will need to OPT-OUT of the program by the drop date and be sure that you’re obtaining the material on your own. Some courses may not have any codes to purchase from third-party vendors (Amazon, Chegg, B&N, etc.) so please be aware that in some cases, opting out will make passing your course impossible. Contact your instructor for more information.
Pricing Inclusive Access Classes
Prices vary by course, Cengage Unlimited Inclusive Access is $214.99 and is good for one year and covers a variety of our courses, from Accounting, Computers, Art, Humanities, Nutrition, Music and several more. Other courses range in price from $50 to $150 per semester. Below is a list of courses and an estimate of the cost that could be taught using Inclusive Access. When you view your textbook information read the full page and if you see the words Inclusive Access just realize your course materials will be available the first day of class.
